I went to 송파산대놀이 Songpa Sandae Noli practice, but we barely spent an hour practicing. This is partially cause everyone's exhausted from all the performances and tomorrow will be the full length (once yearly) performance. 함완식 (회장님/인간문화재) Ham Wanshik (director and national human treasure) approved my survey for the audience, and expressed chagrin that they weren’t the ones to come up with such an idea first. He also found three spelling errors/typos (-after- another friend had already looked through it). That was embarrassing.
I rushed home because Karjam had expressed a desire to see a movie, but the theatres literally have nothing in them worth watching except Korean movies, which Karjam didn’t feel like watching. Instead we went to part of downtown (Seoul has a very large and very walking friendly downtown) and had a date night. We looked around a lot, had dinner and even went to a pastry shop (actually it called itself a chocolate shop) and shared a persimmon tart. I feel almost healthy again.

I was getting nervous to hear the outcome of the Songpa practice from just the first sentence!
Will be eagerly awaiting an update on the survey and full-length performance. ... with baited breath. Hope it went fabulously. A bit afraid to call in case you're super busy/exhausted.
